Fiddlers Gaststätten GmbH owns and manages three pubs and restaurants in Germany. Having built their Irish themed pubs in Essen and Moers, Fiddlers Gaststätten GmbH asked us to work with them to transform their new premises, in Essen, into a high end bar and dining experience. This was a move away from their current client base and service offering. Their end goal was to create an establishment that was the city leader in service and an expert in wine and fine dining, our job was to ensure that this was reflected in every element of the space design.

From researching what their competitors offered, as well as how best to utilise their space, it was decided that a New York Garage Bar design would best convey the brand. This comprised of an open plan design with exposed beams and brickwork and the use of industrial style furnishings and fittings, all with a modern design twist. To achieve this high end feel, rich fabrics and wall finishings, were employed throughout, bespoke hardwood floors were lain and custom made wine bottle chandeliers were fitted. No detail was too small for this project.
